Between stone, light and garden

Villa A is a single-storey village house project in Topallı Village, in Antalya’s Aksu district. In 2025, A.A.Y Mimarlık prepared the architectural design and obtained the building permit.

The façades take their character from the simple pairing of stone textures and white render. Stepped volumes and a flat roofline emphasise the horizontal form of the single-storey house, while dark window frames and shutters define the openings. The entrance canopy marks the approach to the house within this restrained composition.

Large openings onto the garden, together with the terrace and pergola, create a transition between the interior and exterior. Recesses and projections in the façades gain depth through shadow in daylight, while lighting at night highlights the stone texture and the rhythm of the white surfaces. The design brings the tranquillity of rural life together with a contemporary approach to the façades.
